CBD from Coast to Coast

It seems we have a long way to go when it comes to regulating and understanding the healing power of the cannabis plant. Our previous posts attempt to highlight certain areas where CBD can be very helpful. Our hope is to educate people who are new to the usage of purely medicinal cannabis. The plant has such a long history and contained in it a real struggle to separate the stereotypical use of recreational, and the slowly emerging awareness around its bonafide healing qualities. We want to keep the energy pure and light around this plant and the magic contained in it. Thoughts on CBD and Legalization

Since legalization, we have been a little quiet here at Hemp Element. After observing for a while how it’s all going down, here are a few thoughts.  There is a shortage of medical grade cannabis already. Several dispensaries on the East Coast ran out of medicine within a few hours of opening. At first, it was almost funny, except that it isn't. Recreational users may want to chill a little bit. We need to respect and really recognize the healing power of this plant. Chaga and CBD: A Powerful Pair

Some of the most nutritious and medicinal of foods are mushrooms. The king chaga mushroom is mostly found in very northern climates like Russia, Canada and parts of the United States. It is a charcoal-like substance that grows on birch trees and is known in Japan as the "Diamond of the Forest" because it is literally a powerhouse of healing. Perhaps one of the most telling signs of its power is that chaga often has a symbiotic relationship with the trees on which it grows, strengthening and helping heal the tree itself.  Mushrooms grow under us or very close to the earth and perform some very necessary yet miraculous functions in nature, like cleaning and nourishing the soil.  Mycelium, the spores that form a web-like...

CBD: How to Measure Your Medicine

Often we look a lot further than we need for healing. For example, when our feet swell, do we remember to elevate our feet? It stands to reason that it may help, but because it is a simple solution, it might not occur to us and we look outside for help. Here is another simple fact. CBD receptors in the body have no other purpose than to receive this medicine. They are there to be used for our benefit. It is as simple as getting upside down for swollen feet. There are elements of the hemp plant that heal in such a phenomenal way, that we can’t get our minds around it. When you try this medicine, you not only...
